boating is our passion
Our Story
Carnegie Bay Marina was born from a true love of boating. Our owners are avid boaters themselves, so when the opportunity arose to restore and reimagine a historic marina, the decision was an easy one.
Construction began in 2018, transforming the property from the ground up. New driveways were added, docks were upgraded, and the marina began its journey toward becoming a modern, welcoming destination on the river. Then, in 2019, record high water levels caused significant damage throughout the marina. Rather than seeing this as a setback, we saw it as an opportunity to rebuild stronger and smarter.
From the fall of 2019 through the spring of 2020, major improvements were made. A brand-new boat launch was constructed, and the docks were not only repaired, but reinforced and raised to better withstand future high-water events—allowing for safer dockage and long-term durability. A beautiful new bathhouse with handicap-accessible amenities was added, and secure fencing with gated access was installed to help protect the marina and its guests.
Today, Carnegie Bay Marina is designed with captains and crews in mind. Our goal is to provide a peaceful, secure place to dock, paired with a central location that makes it easy to set out on your next adventure. We’re proud of how far the marina has come and are excited to welcome you for many seasons ahead.
We look forward to being part of your journey on the water.
